The tools

AV Design Toolkit provides free calculators and simulators for projection, video and IP media/network design. The tools are provided for planning purposes and may change or be discontinued at any time without notice.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Results are planning estimates only.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links (including Amazon Associates links). If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only link products relevant to the tools.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text and software are owned by us or our licensors. The underlying formulas are public industry standards (AVIXA, SMPTE/THX and similar) and remain freely citable. You may not scrape, reproduce or republish the tools without permission.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or scrape the site.
• Do not use the tools to misrepresent professional engineering advice.
• Do not remove attribution or affiliate disclosures.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the tools, including decisions made based on their output.
